Author pov:-
His parents gave a look to eachother for a second before breaking the news to the would-be-couple. As they know that this news will definitely broke Naina heart but they don't have any other option, because they can't hide this news from them, then after seeing eachother his badi mumma try to tell the news
"Naina.....actually abhi apke papa ka call aaya tha vo-vo-voh" she was trying to speak but scattered in between
"Voh kya badi mumma" devam spoke with tense look
(Naina was very scared at that movement)
"Papa ne kya bola aap sabh ko , is everything alright??" Naina spoke up while she was very scared and nervous at same time which was leading to a small panic attack to her so she holds devam elbow for support.
Seeing her condition devam and his family also get little bit scared so devam made her sit on the couch and offer her water but she denied and again asked to his family
"Please aap baata do kya hua hai , aisa kya hai joh aap log baata nhi pa rhe " This time her eyes were getting filled with water.
Devam further said to his family in a cold voice " Aisa kya hua hai joh aap log baata nhi pa rhe , aap log dekh rhe ho na uski tabiyat kaisi ho rhi hai , abh toh baata do"
"Beta voh apki Nani bohut serious hai , unko suddenly sugar level high jane se heart attack aagya hai " his mother told them which left Naina stunned, making her numb at her place. She was unable to process the news,which has been broked to her just now. Her eyes filled with tears,as just a single word could come out of "Noo......"
Naina started crying at that movement as this news totally break her down at that moment.
But...devam and his family console her and try to get normal and after some time she get better and his dad tell both of them to leave for her grandmother place as it's very important to went their at that time.
Then devam pack his clothes and then went to Naina house she also packed her stuff and then they both left for her grandmother place it was a long travel around 3 to 4 hours so till then half time devam try to console her again as her eyes were still moisturized.
And time passed they reached to the hospital first and naina went to the floor were her grandmother operation is Going on.
Everyone was very upset and her mother, masi and Grandfather was still crying alot. then Naina go closer to them and try to stop them and console them.
after some time doctor came and said
"Operation was successful but her condition is still little bit critical and Only one person can stay with the patient at night and everyone have to leave from here as we can't allow everyone, so u all decide who wants to stay here and rest of u please proceed and she will be fine soon" and then doctor let them decide and went to check other patient.
They nodded to the doctor and Naina mother decide to stay their and everyone was going back to home and devam was waiting for Naina to come as he was little bit scared in going inside the hospital so he was in the parking lot waiting for her.
After few more minutes Naina come back and tell the news to devam which let both of them sigh of relief and then they went to her grandparents house.
As they reached their her grand father come their and asked to Naina " yeh kon hai??" With confused looked.
